;-) Oh, John, what can I say? It is stealing - but legally it is breach of copyright. I believe that privacy is actually conspiracy to defraud, which is indeed legally theft, as well as a moral theft.

The younger set are as honest as the older set. In both there are groups that will duck and dive to do what they want, offering all sorts of invalid arguments, and as yoiu do here, claiming any opposing argument is 'emotional. Well, as you know, My arguments are mostly logical and fact based.

There are two separate points. One is the moral, and this is not the place to deal with that at any length.

The other is that, in practically all countries, there is a recognition that IP has a special place. This is because its contribution to society is very important. Unless you have firm alternative proposals - and I have never seen any from you or any other proponent - the net effect will be the criminalisation of the act of making any copies of any IP.

So be positive, make real proposals that could be law.
