Brenna,

I am sorry about the tone of your response. The post, in response to which, you resort to a rather vulgar insult was an expansion of why I took a less sympathetic view. Since you say repeatedly that my points are what you had said that anyway, I am not sure what you object to.

The comment 'he made some valid' points has now appeared more than once in this thread, but perhaps you would explain which points he made are valid and why. And in turn perhaps address what I said, rather than take abusive offence at the fact I am in some part not agreeing with you; and, presumably, taking further offence at the fact I am trying to analyse exactly what the arguments are, as well as exploring their setting.

There is a repeated assumption throughout the thread, both stated and implied that 'I want' is sufficient excuse for taking. I really think that should have been left behind for school bullies.

While it may be a satsifying response to you to simply dismiss some of what I say, it hardly shows you have arguments against it.
