How long have we been dealing with digital content in any important way: ten years? These things are changing, and will change, but different stakeholders have different interests.

"Antiquated system?" Come on, it's not that old. Digital distribution is leading to new issues and questions - both regarding rights and laws - and these things are starting to change.
