The ubiquitous pdf is now further useful on most, if not all readers. While I have versions of readers on my computer, I do not have any reader devices. The thread about format conversions leads me to wondering ... here is the question: How should one prepare a pdf for the best reading experience? There are many comments about problems of viewing for many different reasons, including non-flowing text and illustration size. Since, for example, the kindle and ipad have different screen sizes, should one prepare different pdfs for each device, and what criteria would apply in each device? Or would such an approach simply lead to unprofitable madness ;-)? [I know that's more than one question, but I can't count ;-)] Joseph Joseph Harris is Smile Poet Mailing list [email protected] http://smilepoet.com [email protected] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------ Post a message: ebook-community [[at]] * Unsubscribe: ebook-community-unsubscribe [[at]] * Switch to digest: ebook-community-digest [[at]] * Switch to normal: ebook-community-normal [[at]] * Put mail on hold: ebook-community-nomail [[at]] * Administrator: ebook-community-owner [[at]] * (* == yahoogroups.com) -------------------------------------------------------Yahoo!
