Re: Global eBook Awards

Oh, wait... Dan, since you posted this... May I ask a question/point
out something to you? I see three icons: nominated, finalist, winner.
This isn't a "nominated" contest. People (author/editor or publisher)
elect to enter, from what I gleaned from the site. Doesn't it defeat
the appearance legitimacy to have everyone posting something saying
they were nominated? Not an attack. Just pointing out to you that an
icon that says something like "I entered..." (like DRA used to use)
would be more appropriate and draw less negative attention to the
project. We all know...with awards, appearances are everything. Even
if you have a flawless system, people will pick at what they find
fault with.
