Considering you have gotten increasingly rude to me with every post...this

Yes, so don't attack others that way for choosing to do it to meet goals
that differ from yours. I don't see the need to do it your way, either, and
I was trying to answer your questions whenever possible. You did keep asking
questions.

And I am reasonably successful without doing it your way. Try accepting that
other people's success is not your place to judge. I don't question that you
are meeting your goals, but my goals are not yours. I will tell you that
nothing you are doing reaches me as a reader. Chances are, nothing I am
doing reaches you as a reader, either. For that reason, I really don't care
what you think about how I do things. It works for me. That's all it has to
do. If you were actually interested, I would discuss it with you, but you
aren't.

You don't phrase yourself as stating an opinion of what works for you. If
you have a grasp of language, you can clearly see that you kept pushing,
challenging, posing questions that you clearly were wasting my time with to
draw out a useless discussion, sniping and snipping... A discussion that is
now over, since it's clear that you have no intention of having a
conversation about this. All you want to do is berate me and I have no time
to deal with that.

No, I called it NETWORKING...career building. Social networking is
socializing, and if it builds a career, it is largely with readers, not
industry professionals. Networking is a serious attempt to build a Rolodex
of connections with industry professionals that will aid your career from
that side instead of the sale side...reaching larger markets and bringing
people home to the previous ones with you instead of slogging away at just
one market, which does work for me. Some of us use risk management
investment in our careers to build them and diversify. If that's not your
thing, it's not. If you're meeting your goals without it and you're not
interested in hearing about how it functions, don't bother to ask me
questions about it. Doing so when you just want to cut it down is wasting my
time and dismissive of me and everyone else that makes it work for us. THAT
does offend me.

Of course this proves, yet again, that you don't read posts. You can't even
quote me correctly.

I never asked you to accept that it's right for you. I tried to explain why
we aren't idiots for doing it. Other people's goals are not yours to judge.
You reach your goals without any networking...fine for you, but you are the
exception to the norm. I told you what has worked for me and for others.
Since you won't try it, you will never know if it will work for you or not,
and given your attitude, if you did try it, you'd go into it without the
drive to do it right, which means it would be a foregone conclusion that it
would likely fail for you. Your choice for your career.

I expected you (too much to ask apparently) to give me the same respect I
tried to give you. Rest assured, I will see no reason to answer your
questions in the future, since it is clear you are out only to bait me into
a pointless challenge that does something for you but nothing for me. It's a
waste of my time and patience. I don't play head games and will no longer
engage in yours.
