Google: "the ASA is not fair, adequate, and reasonable"

Reported to another list by Dick Margulis, the Google agreeemnt is rejected by Judge Chin.

The rejection appears comprehensive, and covers the points that many of us picked up on immediately the agreement was published. 

Chin says: '...arrangement ... would grant Google significant rights to exploit entire books, without permission of the copyright owners. Indeed, the ASA (Amended Settle Agreement) would give Google a significant advantage over competitors, ...'
