And they are clueless about it. They've been saying for more than a year and
a half that the new contract is coming. When I asked WHEN? (we'd been
promised last summer and still no new contracts), I had this clueless
individual instruct me to "Fill out the application, and they will send you
the contract when it's ready." The application isn't even there to fill out.
These people don't even know what is ON the site.

I wrote to B&N about the situation. Predictably, no answer. One of the
things I pointed out was that they had not managed to cultivate the sales
figures on PubIt! that I regularly enjoy on Fictionwise. For every book I
cannot load on FW, I lose money, and they lose twice as much money as I do.
And it's not just me. It's thousands of affected authors. That should
concern them. It should interest them to get that money flowing to them.
