Re: eBooks on Apple - Only From Apple?

When hubbie went to buy an iphone originally the rep tried like
anything to sell him a blackberry - the reason, Apple charges a certain
amount for the phone, then they tell you what price you are allowed to
sell it for, the sales guy (who we got to know really well), said they
make basically nothing on the sales which is why they recommend other
phones.

Why can't Apple see their policies hurt their sales? If they sell
incredible amounts now, think how much more they would sell if
Telephone Salesmen WANTED to sell them, and app creators got a good
deal by making Apple Apps.  They are idiots as far as that goes!
