I dunno. They've stopped or dropped several reader-enticing sales programs. That they aren't accepting new pubbers reminds me too much of other places that quietly ended their existences in increments of closures.

Their converter made titles available in a standard suite of formats.
Individual pubbers might only support a few formats.
I've found it convenient to send up an RTF and a cover pic and call it done.

Of all the sites that take multiple formats (I don't just mean 4 formats...I mean upwards of 10 formats), ARe/O already excels in sales numbers, compared to the others. Only Fictionwise usually beats them out for me...when my books can get to FW.

I signed up with Omnilit last year, but I've been letting Lightning Source supply them. That will likely change soon because while Omni technically carries all my titles, their search system can't always find them.

Tend to agree.
Sometimes it seems to me that BN is anti-success.
What's happening with FW smells too much like what happened to B. Dalton.
