Thanks for the replies.  Those were great points and recommendations.
Impartial reviews by reviewing sites are definitely better.

Perhaps I should have stated that my ebook does not have an ISBN and is not
listed on Amazon or B&N.  At this point, I am very amateur and small-scale
and just attempting to learn how to break into the world of ebooks (so that
I will know the ins and outs for next time).  I'm reluctant to go all the
way and put my current ebook on Amazon because I've heard that Amazon makes
your sales history public, and when publishers see you haven't sold many
copies they will be discouraged from giving you a publishing deal.  The
ebook I currently have has already been launched on my own website, and the
remaining sales may be just a trickle.  Yet I'd still like to promote it if
I can.  Few sites seem willing to review a book in this situation.  Since I
had a review in hand, I wanted to look for places to publish it.  Sorry if
that caused confusion.
