What floors me is that they believe school districts DON’T choose their textbooks NOW to achieve their own political and religious agendas. There are some fundie communities and/or home schooling services now that choose “textbooks” written by their own members with their own religious and political beliefs included, to the exclusion of all else, even attacking other points of view. You don’t need ebooks to do that.

distorting, censoring and propagandising digital books. Shades of 1984.]
