I thought he made immersive reading very clear. Anything that’s not a picture book but is an adult book. The other two categories were adult books that would contain pictures/diagrams/graphs and children’s books, and he admits that’s not an adequate breakdown. I imagine he simply meant immersive in that you don’t have to switch gears to study the pictures, graphs, and other “non text sources.”

Of course, he believes all-text books are the only ones that lend themselves to ebook presentation, and I have to say I completely disagree with that assessment. 

It does annoy me that he insinuates that only self-publishing authors price below the agency norms, though. Rolling eyes. Yet another shortsighted one.
