PS Re: Piracy (no longer) at Stanford University

Unfortunately, whoever runs InfiniRead has moved to other servers, and is charging illegal "subscription" fees to anyone who tries to download their illegally copied stash of ebooks.

It looks exactly like the wiredshelf scam. They warn you that, if you don't cancel within a day, your credit card will be charged increased amounts on a regular basis and extra (unexplained) fees will be added.

Since their "library" is culled from pirate sites (I know this, because one of my books that they are lending never officially existed, and was pirate created), there are probably viruses and other nasties in the downloads.
