I don't know if that, but certainly along those lines. But it would have
to have commercial viability. At this point I see it as more amatter for
discussion. Probably desultory :-) for a while, but waiting that bright
idea, and leader with time to organise. I don't think it should be a
mini-Amazon. I see it more as a straight selling site, with strong
customer relations.

But also with commitment by a lot of micro, mini and small publishers.
And it could not be an exclusive sales site, but it might work with some
combination of a social site style presence for authors and publishers.
If thought through well it would have that flexibility and speed that
would keep it at the forefront of change, as well as serving the markets
that haven't changed :-) .

I am not sure of the main ingredients, never mind the detail. But I am
clear the big players do not serve smaller publishers and authors well.
For some the big players will remain a better sales point. I believe
that for most this would be a refreshing alternative with greater income
potential. But potential is a starting idea, hard thinking and work
would be needed.

Joseph [A thought struck and bruised me: if it served as a contact point
for fan bases it might build as a very effective platform.]
