A number of people who recently joined sent book promos and samples as their first messages.

This group isn't a place to fish, it's the Angler's Club. :)

Come here to discuss epublishing news, tools to create ebooks, marketing tactics and similar topics, but don't sling your own marketing bait inside this clubhouse.

Standard 'come see my wonderful book' promos won't get through.

One liners such as "Me, too," "+1," and "Thanks!" followed by a ten or fifteen line sig likely won't get through, either.

This group is set to remove message attachments automatically.
However...
You are welcome to include a link to your site in a short sig.
