Wow, this news is upsetting. Thank you for sharing. I expected that Adobe
would collect data on books we are reading with Adobe DE, but not that it
would collect data on everything in my Adobe library, and especially not
that it would collect data on epub books I store elsewhere (e.g., in
Calibre).

The sad thing is that Adobe DE is lousy software to begin with. I only use
it when I have to (e.g., library books). Now we learn that it's lousy AND
invasive . . .  great.
