A useful discussion of the epu3, and timely perhaps.

"EPUBs are zipped files that are essentially an entire website."
And interesting comment, since the early ebooks included formats that 
were very similar to websites - within the limits of then current offerings.

My comment would be that, while there are clear advantages for 
interaction with Epub3, "plain vanilla Epub2" still looks sufficient for 
most self- and small publishers.
