Hi,
A short message about the problem [email protected] mailing list.
Please, DO NOT reply the emails you receive from the list. Try to be
patient. It is obvious they had some kind of problem today, and, in
general, the postmasters tend to fix these problems fairly quickly. They
won't do it quicker if we reply to every erroneous email we're receiving.
Instead, any reply you send will be transmitted to everyone else,
increasing the list load, and generating even more traffic. Every time you
say: "don't send more mails", you're contradicting your request, sending it
to potentially thousands of people.
(Of course, this message is like the ones I'm asking not to send... I
really apologize to everyone else who knows what I'm talking about, but I
want to make aware to those who don't).
Likewise, do not send unsubscription emails to the list; we all are going
to receive them (and this is not going to unsubscribe you from the list).
Instead, if you go to
http://lists.canarie.ca/mailman/listinfo/news
you'll probably find the unsubscription instructions.
Sorry for the intrusion, but the least noise we make, the quicker this will go.
