Autoreplies and the additional messages generated

However, it doesn't help matters when a dozen people write to the same listserve stating as much. >From the Canarie website listed at the bottom of each message: "To post a message to all the list members, send email to [email protected]. ... [Stuff deleted] news list run by barbara.bautista at canarie.ca" Based upon this, if you are really that bothered by the additional traffic, which clearly some are, it would probably be better to e-mail [email protected] directly, rather than stating an obvious point about something we are all experiencing. I apologize for being blunt, but I have seen this on other listserves and the "Please stop" message always outnumber the AutoReplies (and depending on the nature of the AutoReply software may also generate even more AutoReplies as a result).
