salam, sr. laura, i'm not christian and definitely not catholic. as a muslim, to me anyone who believes jesus as god was christian. but i have been told over and over again by christians that catholicism is different from christianity. carm or the 'christian apologetics and research ministry', for example, is one of the many, many christian organizations who do not accept catholics as 'christian.' ( see their website: http://www.carm.org/catholic/saved.htm ) and this is not some bogus place but a non-profit, govt-recognized organization. and, no, it is not just one person... there are tons and tons of christian religious leaders who believe children go to heaven. here a few places: living way minisitries - http://www.livingway.org/library/faq/faq094.html methodist expert dennis kinman - http://experts.about.com/q/957/2536200.htm clarifying christianity - http://www.clarifyingchristianity.com/get_wet.shtml (they do mention that 400s AD guy though :( ... sorry ) the point is, non-catholic believers in christ and catholics are definitely different on major stuff. none of which are like sunnism and suffism or shi'ism, etc, all who have a solid ground in belief of one god, one prophet, one book, etc. i'm sorry if my comments hurt you... i certainly did not mean to. afdhere Afdhere Jama Editorial Director HURIYAH Publications S A N F R A N C I S C O [email protected] http://www.huriyahmag.com >From: "Laura" >Reply-To: ---------- Check out the great features of the new MSN 9 Dial-up, with the MSN Dial-up Accelerator.
