well.. hmm... ok. but don't you think that there might have been at 
least an itsy-bitsy little tiny reference to something to do with the 
issue in the Qur'an if it were as serious as a third sex? why would 
allah seemingly only talk about 2 then?

of course, if we regard the Qur'an as "full of outdated thingies" (not 
suggesting that you said that, then I guess we shouldn't give a damn 
about what it says.
