Dear Talib, your first statement clearly asks for Muslim approaches with repect to HIV, and I gave you my opinion. I sense your response is fueled more by your innappropriate assumption that I feel obligated to respond to every query. And this is your polite way of saying that I should keep quiet, unless I have something useful to say. Which you obviously feel-- I do not. If my response is not useful Talib then you could have ignored and or blocked me. But to use this venue to tell me to refrain from being so active in my participation is really unfair. I have two special needs sons who require my full time attention. I have been granted a break for the last two days by securing a respite care worker to assist me wth thier care. I have used that time, unwinding on the net, making conversatin with what I thought was a community of peers. That would explain my "obligation" to respond to every query, as you put it. This free time has given me the luxery to use this forum to satiate my appetite for dialogue. YOur request for me to keep quiet is well taken. I am frankly hurt that you would so callously respond to what may have been nothing more then a misunderstanding on my part. Its been a pleasure, but Iwill add nothing more and return to my responsiblities silenced by your disingenious remarks.. >From: "talib ul-Haq" >Reply-To: [email protected] >To: [email protected] >Subject: [Progressivemuslimsnetwork] Sex and the sanctity of marriage >Date: Thu, 04 Mar 2004 22:36:07 +0000 > >Thanks Inas > >However, I did not ask for advice on how I should approach the >question.
