Belated Introduction

As'sallam Alleekum,
  As you may have noticed my name is Rma Anabtawi. I am a 39 ( and counting ) year old woman. I am Palestinian and Irish by birth, born to  a Muslim Father and a Christian raised agnositic mother. I was raised without religious education  and was encouraged to "decide for myself" as to what , if any religion I would choose. After many years , involved cursorily in a variety of religions , I took Shahada in my early thirties and for me it was a natural thing  in the prgression of my life. I am so scholar on Islamic thought and jurisprendence although that is a keen interest in my life. Insha allah I will someday be able to pursue this with more "structure".
 A divorced mother of 2 sons Jeremiah ( now Mustapha) and Noah ages 16 abd 14, and always a stepmother to my three step children from my former marriage.
 I have a Master's degree in English literature , and Philosophy as well as a cetificate in Women's Studies and Cross CUltural Studies. An activist all my life I am co-founder of the Palestine Right to Return Coalition,( al-awda) and many various organizations concerning Palestinian and Araband Arab womens concerns. A stifled writer , academic , activist and polticial analyst I am a trained women's crisis counseler , having previously worked as  director of  a Battered Women's Center. Raised in Souteast Texas, until the age of 17 , when I moved to Western Massachusetts  , lived in a variety of states in the US ut mainly in the W,Mass area. 
  I have been traveling , lol, on the road , for about 18 months, I am curently staying in Connecticut near Ny City and not sure where I will go next( translation ' homeless'). I am a Woman with Lupus an autoimmune disorder as well as having other various health problems , currently battling the "i have no health insurance " path of the chronically ill.
 My interests are extremely varied and I am quite autodidactical by nature. A curious mind , filled with a plethora of ideas. 
 I am sincerely gald to be part of this group and the discussions are so very interesting. It is nice to have time to participate more here although I am always quite busy .
   to be honest I really dread giving introductions LOL. but this is what I came up with for today :) Blessings to all .
