hi all,

over the last couple of weeks, i haven't always been able to follow the
discussions...  at first i thought i was missing some posts - which
seemed possible since my school is doing its 3 hour to 3 day mail delay
again.  but then i thought maybe it was that responses to lists were
mixing.  i'm not sure what it is - maybe all of these ... hehehe... but
it's been confusing at times.

one thing that seems to add to the confusion is when someone replies to
a whole digest, rather than to one post -- and then i'm just not sure
what post the response is meant for.

this might be clearer for me if i could keep the posts, but i can't
anymore - the volume is just too high, especially when earlier posts are
quoted in their entirety so often - so i'd like to ask if people could
try to be clear about which post they're referencing.

i don't have much to add on these topics, but i read everything that
goes up, so i'd like to be able to follow the discussion.

and ...oh yeah...nice to hear from some missing wise ones....
