The limit is not technology, it is physical, like the speed of light.  
Therefore, there is no way, even in theory, of doing this.

To change this, you must overthrow the foundations of modern physics,  
which has held up under the combined pressure of the best minds for a  
hundred years.

New developments in science are only of minor impact on practical  
problems. Even the revolutions of relativity theory and quantum  
mechanics had hardly any practical effect on these types of limits.  
For example, the only engineers that have to worry about relativistic  
effects are the ones working on particle accelerators and systems like  
GPS, where extremely precise timing is crucial and very high  
velocities are involved.
