This analysis is too superficial to be of any use in changing
behavior. It fails to address the subconscious level of responding
that is discussed, for example, in terror management theory. The
rational actor model of human behavior is not capable of dealing with
these issues. Progress will occur when the cultural framework is
changed. Paul's recent paper addresses the issue of religiosity vs.
social conditions in different countries.

>>>It may be that
we are well advised to bring along as many memento's of past community
connections as we can via pics, sound files, video clips, etc. to assist our
re-integration into the new communities in which we find ourselves.

And why not? The Society for Universal Immortalism offers its members an opportunity to store mementos in an underground vault for safekeeping until they are brought out of their cryopreservation.
