I have been invited to speak at the ConFusion 2010
science fiction convention being held in Troy, Michigan
on the fourth weekend of January. Those wishing to
attend my presentation will need to register for

I was asked to concentrate on the scientific
aspects of cryonics. I will devote the first
half of my presentation to rejuvenation science because
I believe this is an essential part of the cryonics
program that is too often missed, and which provides
so much incentive (a marketing benefit for outreach).

My one-hour presentation is scheduled for
Saturday, January 23rd at 5pm

Scientific Basis of Rejuvenation and Cryonics

A PowerPoint Presentation

Cryonics is based on the expectation that
future medicine will be able to repair cryopreservation
damage, cure all diseases and rejuvenate people to
enduring youth. The SENS approach to rejuvenation will
be explained in detail along with the scientific meaning
of death and the science of cryopreservation.
