Will any of Delany's works ever be filmed?

I really would love to see at least Nova & the Towers Trilogy filmed.
If anyone really had the balls to make Dhalgren it would be
gay-friendly Showtime (as opposed to -- ironically -- black-friendly
HBO), but even they probably wouldn't touch the menage a trois
featuring a 15 year-old boy. It definitely would have to be filmed as
a miniseries ala Dexter and Tales of the City.
Why haven't any Delany works been optioned by Hollywood? Preferably
by an openly-gay director like Bryan Singer, who has a flair for SF
flicks like the thinly-veiled gay parable X-Men series. Does Chip
himself want his books filmed?
