From the 2:00 samples available on the site, I=E2=80=99d say quite a bit of=
influence, in that, as soundscapes, they are both what I imagine, and very=
similar to things I was doing forty some odd years ago on a Moog at my uni=
versity, alas, no recordings of which remain playable, being done on reel-t=
o-reel. (I tried last year but none of the content was retrievable, or just=
too degraded.) Atmospheric, ambient, nicely gorgeous stuff. I may just bre=
ak down and get this. Thanks for alerting me to this site.
I=E2=80=99ve long held that Dhalgren would make an excellent opera, and the=
play version I have seen did explore some of the sonic potential, but not =
enough, IMHO.
