Good Afternoon, The Communication Studies program at Defiance College in Defiance, OH is seeking to staff two sections of our first-year public speaking course for Fall 2018. This course covers a set curriculum based around a series of speech assignments and readings from Steven Lucas' The Art of Public Speaking. While the general structure of the course is set, there is a fair bit of space for instructors to customize minor assignments and classroom activities should they wish to do so.
