Visual, interactive art map and live database of CEE countries

Dear SHERA Society,


I am writing you because I really appreciate the work of SHERA and I hope
that you will find my research project interesting or useful as well.

I am a Hungarian international student at the London South Bank
University’s Cultural Management masters programme. My research project
involves seeking artists, art spaces, art managers and collectors as
partners. Thus, I am writing to you seeking collaboration.



As an independent university project, I am going to create a visual,
interactive art map and live database about the visual artists, art spaces,
art markets, collectors and networks in Central and Eastern Europe. The
purpose is to strengthen the cultural relationship and cooperation between
the countries of the region and the UK as well. The project’s aim is to
help the artists and exhibition spaces to be visible in the international
scene and to help the collectors to find new artists and artworks.





I am looking for partners who may be able to:



-          suggest artists, art spaces or collectors from their city or
country that would be interested in building their international networks
through a website for professionals



and/or



-          join the visual art map and mobile application and share this
exciting project with their friends and networks



and/or



-          be partners through fundraising or sponsorship whilst the
development of the project and research, or who could suggest other
partners that might be interested in investing in this endeavor.



Please let me know if you are interested in my project. Any participation
would be great appreciated and officially acknowledged. I would be grateful
for any suggestions you might be able to offer.
