This February the BFI will be presenting a full retrospective of one of
the pioneers within contemporary American cinema. The David Lynch: A
Reputation Precedes season will run from February 1st – 29th and will
feature films such as The Elephant Man, Blue Velvet and Mulholland
Drive.

Following its acclaimed premiere at the London Film Festival Archive
Gala in 2011, The First Born (1928) will screen with a live score
from Stephen Horne at the BFI Southbank on 25 January. The BFI are
delighted to present this major National Archive restoration; a tale of
romance, jealousy and class accompanied with a live performance of the
specially commissioned Stephen Horne Score.
