Turkish "crusade" films

From: "Robin Vose" <[email protected]> I am following up on a helpful suggestion from an audience member at a recent talk who commented that a number of films on the medieval Crusades have been screened (or aired on TV) over the last few decades in Turkey. I have yet to identify any examples of such Turkish films, and so appeal to my H-FILM colleagues-- does this ring a bell with anyone? Indeed, tips on any "crusade" films from the Muslim world would be welcome, aside from Chahine's oeuvre which I have studied pretty thoroughly. Alternatively, any suggestions on English (or French)-language literature on Turkish film which might guide me to such films? Thanks for any suggestions!
