unreliable narration in cinema

i wonder if anyone can direct me to any serious work that's been done on
the topic of unreliable narration in film . . . there are cinematic
examples of first-person narration - i suppose every eyeline match counts
as a mini-example of first person narration - as well as  instances of more
extended first person narration [maybe lady in the lake] . . . .  but what
i'm interested in are cinematic examples of films that through the way the
camera is employed call attention to the unreliable way the camera is
employed and, more importantly, critical consideration of this process

any suggestions??
