From: MIllennium Film Journal <[email protected]> Announcing the publication of Millennium Film Journal No. 58 "Since 78" (35th Anniversary Issue). This bumper issue includes 20 essays on the development of artists' cinema since 1978, covering film, video, installation, digital formats, etc. It includes an interview with James and Sadie Benning by Bruce Jenkins, a new essay by Gene Youngblood (whose "Expanded Cinema" was published in 1971) and texts, both informative and controversial, by the best of the younger, mid-career and senior scholars of the field. You can see a full table of contents and order a copy at mfj-online.org I know I am biased, but I think it is a great issue, which will become a standard reference source.
