What a great topic. Has anyone yet mentioned David Lynch's "Inland Empire"?
Laura Dern's character falls into ontological vertigo when she begins
playing a part in a new movie adaptation of some haunted folk tale. There's
also an episode of "The Twilight Zone" called "A World of Difference"
that's about an actor who's convinced he's the character he plays.
