Because if Faith was given the green light, Joss would find a way of
shoehorning his idol in.  Don't beleive me?  That's fine, but that's
why Eliza jumped from signing for Faith to doing Tru.  Because Spike
was to be added and she'd seen S6 and S7.

As for only wanting a Faith show, I'd love Connor, Illyria, and Giles
to have TV movies.

But no Spike.

And my fav char?  Xander.  But thanks to the Spike love, there's no
mileage left in him (dump a char for two years so fan-girls can oodle
abs and that's what happens).
