Well, I, for one, happen to like a lot of Mr. Fluks' ideas.
Some make sense to me, others don't.
Your explanation was simply that of a materialist point of view. His was a lil' bit more open-minded.
Every one of us, having our own free-will, have the possibility to choose between yours or his.
But bashing Fluks and his explanation adds nothing to the discussion itself.

Twin Peaks is definitely not a single-sided series. Nor is it any movie or work of Mr. Lynch.
That's for sure.

astrology is a pseudoscience based on relative astronomical positioning 4,000 years ago which has since changed.
The Prisoner is about (a) man constrained by a seemingly free society; Twin Peaks is about man struggling with the choices of right or wrong in a dichotomous world, itself a battleground between good and evil.
The Matrix is a left-wing-nut fantasy trying to explain life's condundrums by blaming a phantom robotic conspiracy (some people will accept any explanation/ rationalization rather than the Truth).
