I was thinking of something that showed you each part of the group-name
in a drop-downey auto-completey dynamic kind of way:

  ------------------------------------
 | gmane | comp | lang | ...
  ------- network | sysutils |
         | org | education |
         | os | .
         | science | .
         | politics | .
         | linux |
            .
            .
            .

Where each part would adjust according to what was chosen previously. So
if you have already chosen "gmane.comp", then the third section would
only show the existing "gmane.comp.*" ones

Maybe with a count behind each part, so you can see if you're choosing
something specialized or generally used.

Not really sure precisely how it would work... and if it would be
useful.

I'm just thinking something more dynamic than "search the entire config
for keywords".

Maybe this complementes a general search in both names and descriptions?

Literally typing out loud here...

  Best regards,

    Adam
