gmane.org domain name auction

I mentioned this in another thread, but I guess it got lost or ignored.

The domain name is expiring on Feb 17th; do we (or you Larsi
specifically) want to try to get it back, again?

I tried to explore the options on NameSilo.com but it was bewildering
and slightly odd. I don't have $1000 to plonk down, but I'll be happy to
help in other ways if I can.
