See > https://pyropus.ca./software/getmail/documentation.html#mailing-list-users At first sight, that, by itself, doesn't explain it - lists that require subscription in order to post were already a thing, and all that required was subscribing (often with a "nomail" option for convenience) so that one could read and post via Gmane. What is different in this case? -- Nuno Silva
