how to set default font in GNU/Linux (Abiword 2.8.2-2)

Hi, I'm running Abiword 2.8.2-2 under Debian GNU/Linux (Unstable).

The default font is Times New Roman, and I want to have Dejavu Serif as 
the default font.

How is the default font set?
