Yes, I have examined the file. It is not a template file, but a document. I am creating a new document and create some styles on that document. It always reads normal... here it is: <s followedby="Normal" name="s1" basedon="Normal" type="P" props="font-weight:normal; font-family:Times New Roman; margin-top:0pt; font-style:normal; margin-left:0pt; widows:2; text-decoration:none; text-indent:0in; color:000000; font-variant:normal; bgcolor:transparent; margin-right:0pt; margin-bottom:0pt; font-size:16pt; line-height:1.0; text-align:left; font-stretch:normal"/> The font style in the dialog, for some odd reason reads in the local language my computer is using. It is in Turkish. I change it to bold-italic and save the document. But it still saves it as normal. Might this be the problem. The computer I am using at home is an XP with english as its language. The computer I am working with has the language/regional settings set as turkish. Thank you for your respone...
