I want to compile from source v2.8.6 which is the current stable
version. Why development version 2.9.2 is in *buntu LTS i can't
imagine. I've only compiled once before.

What i'm not sure of is what do i do to check the dependencies
required for v2.8.6 on xubuntu 12.04. When i compiled before i just
installed them from synaptic but that was only about 4 - with abiword
there are 20+.
