How on earth do I remove this version and replace it with a 2.8 version which will work. Or even how do I make the 2.9.2 version work. ----- Version 2.9.4 has been released. The developers are recommending this newer version, as it contains a lot of bug fixes. It can be downloaded and installed using a source tarball from www.abisource.com. You may also be able to download version 2.8.6 and try to install that. I'm saying try because 2.8.6 may require dependencies that your system may have updated, and so are no longer compatible with 2.8.6. You'll probably need to configure your applications menu to point at the new version. Strangeness: When I upgraded to 2.9.4, clicking on Help -> About AbiWord reported it as version 2.9.2. ----------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to [email protected] with the word unsubscribe in the message body.
