Some news about: what version of abiword do you get with abiword 3.0?

I started a parallel discussion about the same problem on the fedora
list, to see whether the problem may be on that side, and a subscriber
there just helped me discover something interesting. Details here:

So what do we have here, a bug in "make install"? Why, after doing
that, should the right way to start abiword be launching a wrapper
left in the src dir, instead of the binary put by "make install" in
/usr/local/bin?
