Ah, ok. I remember, that debian really had (still has?) a crappy firefox binary... This binary did not only crash with BXE, but also other JS based sites (like the lenya admin screen, for example). And it's hard enough to keep on track with the different releases from Mozilla (Firefox 0.9 and Mozilla 1.7 were practically unusable for BXE and I needed some time to figure *that* out ;) ). I'd wish also, BXE would run on anything after Mozilla 1.4, but while it's a better situation now with the Mozilla developement, then it was during 1.0 times, some bugs of Mozilla I just can't work around. I'd have to keep up very closely with the current Mozilla developement to detect such stuff early enough. But I just don't have the time for that, unfortunately. But I'm sure Mozilla/Firefox will mature even more in the future and such glitches will happen less and less ;) > Basically what I wanted to say is that it'd be cool if I could be > sure whether something is a BXE bug or a browser bug, a crossbrowser BXE > is not what I was wishing. ok. As a rule of thumb, I can say that, if the browser crashes, it's a Mozilla bug, if it doesn't it's a BXE bug ;) (But as Firefox 0.9 showed, it doesn't have to crash to be a Mozilla Bug...) > You uses IE anyway.
