Basic misunderstanding

I think I have a basic misunderstanding about the Bitflux Editor. After installing it and looking at the demo, the next thing I wanted to do was create a new XML document which conforms to my own DTD. After looking at the system for a while, I think that in order to do this I need to: - convert my DTD to an XSD. that is ok. - create an XSL stylesheet to display this new document. even though I don't want to display this document as HTML. - create the XML document. this is why I think I am just missing something - and update the config.xml to point to all these files. Where did I take a wrong turn and get to this clearly wrong point? Pointers to documentation which I missed are welcome.
