View without edit

Hi,

I am trying to use bitflux in an application where one can enter information into predefined structured documents. I succeded to use Bitflux editor with PHP and XHTML. 
My question is how to permit view only to some persons and restrict edidting? In my undestanding Bitflux renders the XML content into the XHTML template only after you bxe_start it. Then the menu and toolbar become visible and one can edit the content. Of course I can disable the save but is there any better way?

Also I found that in order to use multiple paragraphs in a text box you have to use css stylesheets. Where can I find information on how to combine stylesheets with bitflux?
